The Challenge
Celeste Sue Benskey, a professional counselor based in Plymouth, MI was seeking to establish a web presence for her growing business. Celeste’s ambitions for the web were twofold: she not only sought a professional design and implementation of her company’s identity online, but also wanted to acquire new clients by driving additional traffic to her website. Her hope was to successfully harness the mass-marketing capabilities of the Internet to publicize her small business and make her new website easy to find for potential clients.
Market analysis, online directory listings, pay-per-click advertising and visitation statistics have further bolstered Celeste’s marketing efforts.
The Solution
Boxcar Studio suggested a 2-stage approach to this project. The initial focus for the team was to design and implement a website that would integrate Celeste’s existing branding and identity with a custom design to achieve the look and feel of a professional yet welcoming site. With a late-spring launch of the site, Boxcar Studio chose to incorporate custom photography of local flora to give the site a touch of elegance while maintaining an earthy and relaxed tone.
The second stage of the project involved an aggressive online marketing campaign. Considering the pressures and costs of traditional marketing avenues it was apparent that the ideal approach to successfully enhancing Celeste’s exposure hinged upon well-executed Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactics. Boxcar Studio was be able to deliver the new website to thousands of potential clients at a mere fraction of the cost of print and media advertising, direct mailings, or community outreach.
